GORE-TEX Garment Rentals delivers a unique & premium garment rental experience. We’ve partnered with GORE-TEX to provide specific outerwear, for both men and women in various sizes, to our guests to enhance their mountain experience. This collection features new designs from the GORE-TEX brand with specific details designed for a great rental experience. What to expect from our partner rental service
We hope to show all of our guests that a great day on the mountain starts with the proper gear. That’s why we’ve chosen to partner with GORE-TEX to provide top of the line outerwear to keep you dry, warm and smiling throughout your entire visit.
Quality control and hygiene
Following each rental, garments will be inspected for damage, cleaned and sanitized at a local cleaner, and repackaged to maintain hygiene for the next rental.

GORE-TEX PRO MEN’S JACKET
This durable, partially insulated GORE-TEX Pro jacket is the next level of on-mountain outerwear. This shell is entirely seam-sealed with 3-Layer GORE-TEX Pro fabric plus strategically placed comfort mapped Primaloft® Silver insulation. It delivers professional performance through all weather conditions with breathability, style, comfort, and safety.
GORE-TEX PRO MEN’S PANT
Engineered to dominate the mountain regardless of the terrain or weather, these pants are the ultimate in snowboarding or freeriding. Constructed with 3L GORE-TEX Pro fabric and comfort mapped PrimaLoft® Silver insulation, these pants will keep you protected from the elements, comfortable, and ensure enjoyable riding from dawn to dusk.
GORE-TEX WOMEN’S JACKET
Experience the mountain like never before in this medium weight insulated outerwear jacket. The GORE-TEX Women’s Jacket combines core-warming comfort mapped Primaloft® Silver insulation with a flattering silhouette that will pair perfectly with anything in your closet. Whether on the lifts or après-ski, this jacket will keep you warm, dry, and comfortable thanks to the waterproof yet breathable 2-Layer GORE-TEX fabric.
GORE-TEX WOMEN’S PANTS
Highly technical yet contemporary and timeless, these pants will get you through any conditions on the mountain. The GORE-TEX Women’s pants combine core-warming comfort mapped Primaloft® Silver insulation with 2-Layer GORE-TEX fabric for a waterproof, windproof, and warm riding experience.
Covid Conscious
The Powder House and GORE-TEX are fully committed to providing a safe and healthy rental experience for our customers during the pandemic. In order to ensure the sanitization of each garment, GORE-TEX has identified and contracted local cleaners to provide a full clean and sanitization of each garment following each use.
In addition, we firmly believe in following all health department and CDC guidelines, and aim to provide the best and safest in-store experience for all of our customers.
Layering 101
You can feel confident that these unique GORE-TEX Garments will deliver unparalleled comfort on the mountain. Each garment has mapped insulation to provide extra warmth in key areas of your body and is designed to protect you from the elements. GORE-TEX jackets & pants deliver waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection and comfort for a full day on the mountain.
But even the best outerwear benefits from proper layering. We recommend that your first layer is a breathable, next-to-skin piece, that wicks moisture away from your skin, this will eliminates that cold, clammy feeling while simultaneously keeping you from getting cold. We are partial to merino wool base layers, but we also carry synthetic options. If you run cold, consider wearing another layer, such as a mid-weight fleece or a lightly insulated jacket or vest. The right layers will save you from shedding clothes or wishing you had worn more.
